Cheryl is a Master’s prepared Cardiac Surgery Care Coordinator Nurse at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.  Cheryl has over 35 years of nursing experience with increasing levels of responsibility in several hospitals throughout the New England area.  In her current role she collaborates and integrates with a multidisciplinary team across the care continuum to facilitate evidence based care for cardiac surgery patients.  Cheryl’s passion is in improving the quality of healthcare and ultimately enhancing the patient pre and post-operative experience.  As a member of the ERAS® Cardiac Society she is able to share best practices and protocols from around the world.
