The Impact of EMR, ESD and Ablation on Esophageal Surgery

Lorenzo Ferri is the David S. Mulder Chair in Surgery, a clinical scientist in the Departments of Surgery and Oncology, and heads the McGill University Program in Upper GI Cancer. Dr Ferri is an independent investigator with active basic science, translational and clinical research programs, all concentrated primarily on malignancies of the chest and foregut.  Dr Ferri is the recipient of numerous national (e.g. Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Canadian Cancer Society, Cancer Research Society) and international (e.g. Cancer Research UK Grand Challenge, Department of Defence Impact grant) peer review grants for his work into the inflammatory basis of cancer progression and metastasis.
