Mohamed El Zaeedi is a cardiothoracic surgery fellow at NYU Langone Hospital, New York. El Zaeedi obtained his Bachler degree of medicine from Tripoli University, Libya. He then moved to united state for general surgery training and became board certfified. With the outstanding robotic training at NYU Langone, El Zaeedi focuses on the surgical treatement of thoracic disease (lung, esophagus, mediastinum and chest wall) using robotic assisted minimally invasive techniques.

Objective: To report the world first pediatric Robotic Tracheal resection using V-V ECMO
Case Video Summary: This surgical video demonstrates the history and surgical technique of a young child with primary tracheal tumor that undergoes tracheal resection with end-to-end anastomosis using a completely robotic portal platform and V-V ECMO
Conclusions:
A completely portal robotic approach is safe and effective for patients with primary tracheal tumor using ECMO without heparin
